Peugeot Partner SE L1 Electric

Overview

A 2019 Peugeot Partner electric van that has only done 2,196 miles and is therefore still like new with long manufacturer's warranty remaining. These are the only small electric vans that have 3 seats up front, making them very practical. The passenger seat also folds down flat, allowing you to load load items through and can take 3 metre pipe or conduit inside, rather than carrying on the roof. All have air conditioning and 50kW DC rapid charging.

For full details of specifications and dimensions, refer to the Peugeot brochures at the bottom of this page.

Being zero emission, these vans are road tax exempt and London congestion zone and ULEZ exempt (but only after registering).

Date of registration: 31/01/2019
Mileage: 2,196 (this may increase slightly)

Range

The range of a vehicle is dictated by the battery capacity, driving style and temperature. Just like a petrol or diesel vehicle, range is reduced is you drive fast or uneconomically. For further details, see Range Explained.

The official (NEDC) range is 106 miles, but in real life this is typically around 80-90 miles in the summer, if driven economically. Range is reduced in winter to around 60-70 miles, but this does depend on the temperature and heating use.

Charging

This van has both AC charging and DC rapid charging. The rapid charging is via a 50kW Chademo port at the rear. Public rapid chargers are found in motorway service stations, petrol stations, IKEA, Lidl stores and some roadside locations. You get a charge (to 80%) in around 20-25 minutes.
The AC charging is via a type1 (J1772) port at the front, which charges at 3.6kW/16A. AC chargers are what you find in car parks, roadside locations, shopping centres, workplace and home wall chargers. At 3.6kWh, you'll add about 15 miles of range per hour of charging.
You can also charge from a standard 240V mains socket using a portable charger cable (often called a granny cable). These charge at 2.3kW/10A and add about 10 miles per hour of charging.
Charging would typically be overnight or top-ups between trips, when the van is not in use.

Charge times (from empty) are approx:

  • 25 mins to 80% on a 50kW DC rapid charger

  • 7 hours to 100% on a 7kW AC charger

  • 9 hours to 100% on a 2.3kW portable charger

The van comes with both a type1 to type 2 AC charge cable and a portable charger (granny cable).

Battery

22.5kWh lithium-ion battery, of which around 20.5kWh is usable. The battery is owned.
It is not possible to test the battery health on these vans as the battery management system does not report the state of health. However, these packs will typically last the life of the vehicle and only loose around 1% per year.

Grants and funding

Need finance?

Go Green Autos Ltd is a FCA regulated and authorised business and can offer finance on most of our vehicles. However, we are currently changing providers and due to the recent covid lock down and FCA changes in the motor trade industry, our switch over has been delayed so we find ourselves not being able to provide finance until this has completed, which will be in the New Year.

In the meantime, you can try Car Loan Warehouse.
