This is a rare Nissan E-NV200 with a drop side caged tipper body conversion from Vic Young Conversions, which cost £12,000+VAT. The base van is a 2022 Acenta spec 40kWh. Being a 2022 model, this is the last of the Nissan E-NV200s as it went out of production in 2022 and has been replaced with the Nissan Townstar EV (a rebadged Renault Kangoo E-Tech).
The tipper body has solid drop sides on the lower half with a caged upper that swings open at the rear and on the nearside. The load volume is 2.862 m3 and is 183cm long x 170cm wide x 92cm tall or 6' x 5'7" x 3'. There's storage underneath the body which is accessed via the rear tailgate. The payload is 311 kg. LED beacons are fitted to the roof and front and it has a reversing alarm fitted. See videos below for more information.
This has been owned by a local authority and comes with a service history report. A new thorough service has just been undertaken with also an air conditioning regas, brake strip down and a reduction gear oil change. Watch the video below for a full description of the work done and condition of the van.
The Acenta models have air conditioning, passenger and side airbags, bluetooth, rear reversing camera, cruise control, speed limiter, electric door mirrors and battery cooling and heating. Charging is via the 50kW DC rapid charger Chademo port or the 6.6kW AC type1 port.
From April 2025, electric vehicles are no longer exempt from road tax (vehicle excise duty) and electric vans pay the same LCV rate as other commercial vehicles which is currently £345.

The range of a vehicle is dictated by the battery capacity, driving style and temperature. Just like a petrol or diesel vehicle, range is reduced is you drive fast or uneconomically. For further details, see Range Explained.
The official range of the 40kWh E-NV200 is 187 miles on the WLTP city cycle and 124 miles on the WLTP combined cycle. However, with real world driving, you should get around 150 miles in the summer. Range is reduced in winter by up to 20% due to the outside temperature and heating use.
The range you can achieve with a full battery at different average driving economies is:
5.0 mpkWh (super efficient city driving) = 190 miles
4.5 mpkWh (efficient summer driving) = 171 miles
4.0 mpkWh (average driving) = 152 miles
3.5 mpkWh (efficient winter driving) = 133 miles
3.0 mpkWh (average winter driving) = 114 miles
This ENV200 has two charging ports at the front. A 50kW DC Chademo port for public rapid chargers and a 6.6kW type1 for all other charging on AC power.
Charge times (from empty) are approx:
40 mins from 10-80% on a 50kW DC rapid charger
7.5 hours to 100% on a 7kW AC charger
21.5 hours to 100% on a 2.3kW portable charger
The vehicle comes with two charge cables - a type1 to type 2 AC charge cable to connect to a home, workplace or public wall charger and a portable charger (granny cable) for charging on a normal mains socket. When using the portable charger, you add about 9-10 miles of range for every hour of charging, as it is limited to 10 amps. But this is handy for top ups between trips. When using a 7kW AC wall charger, it will add around 25 miles or range for every hour of charging. When DC rapid charging, you'll add over 100 miles per hour!
40kWh 360 volt lithium-ion battery. Battery is owned. The usable capacity is around 38kWh. The current battery state of health (tested on 04/04/2025) is 96.13%. Battery SoH can fluctuate and goes up and down. The battery is warranted from new for 8 years/100,000 miles.
The van is in great condition and everything works without any fault. Watch the video above for a detailed review of the condition.
