Nissan E-NV200
Acenta Rapid Plus

Overview

A 100% electric Nissan E-NV200 van with very low mileage, ex-lease and one owner. This one is the Acenta Rapid Plus, which means it has the DC rapid charging (30 minute rapid charge) and the upgraded 6.6kW AC charging for faster home or workplace charging. It also has the optional heated front seats and heated leather steering wheel, which makes a huge difference in the winter as its more efficient to heat the driver, than heating the whole cab. The van also has a reversing camera, bluetooth, pre-conditioning, timed charging and of course the normal electric windows & mirrors.

The E-NV200 has a 703kg payload (reduced to 678kg on Tekna spec vans) and a 4.2m3 cargo volume. Being an Acenta Rapid Plus model, it gains the following over the standard Acenta spec: 50kW DC rapid charging, upgraded 6.6kW AC charger, climate control, automatic lights & rain sensing wipers.

For full details of specifications and dimensions, refer to the Nissan brochure at the bottom of this page.

Being zero emission, these vans are ULEZ exempt and road tax exempt. If you're a small business, sole trader or charity and regularly drive into the London ULEZ, then you could qualify for the £9,500 scrappage grant by scrapping an diesel van - see TFL scrappage scheme.

Vehicle details

Model: Nissan E-NV200 Acenta Rapid Plus 24kWh

Registration: BT65ZLV

Date of registration: 21/12/2015

Mileage: 9,255 (this may increase slightly)

Colour: Alabaster white (solid)

Range

The range of a vehicle is dictated by the battery capacity, driving style and temperature. Just like a petrol or diesel vehicle, range is reduced is you drive fast or uneconomically. For further details, see Range Explained.

The official (NEDC) range is 106 miles, but in real life this is typically around 80-90 miles in the summer, depending on driving style. Range is reduced in winter to around 65-75 miles, but this does depend on the temperature and heating use. Because this van has the winter pack, you can use heated seats & heated steering wheel to minimise heater use, which helps improve winter range.

Charging

This ENV200 has two charging ports at the front. A 50kW DC Chademo port for public rapid chargers and a type1 (J1772) for all other charging on AC power. This van has the upgraded 6.6kW AC charger. (The standard charger is 3.3kW)

Charge times (from empty) are approx:

  • 30 mins to 80% on a 50kW DC rapid charger

  • 4 hours to 100% on a 7kW AC charger

  • 9.5 hours to 100% on a 2.3kW portable charger

The van comes with a type1 to type 2 AC charge cable. A portable charger (granny cable) can also be supplied on a loan basis.

Battery

24kWh 360 volt lithium-ion battery. Battery is owned.

The current battery state of health (tested 02/08/2020) is 83.52%. Battery SOH does fluctuate and can go up as well as down. As this van has only had two DC rapid charges in its lifetime and has been sat for a few months (due to the pandemic), then I would expect the SOH to rise once it is back in regular daily use and it would benefit from some DC rapid charging.

Condition

The van is in good condition as it has only done 9k miles. However, it was previously sign written with vinyl lettering and now has marks in the paint where this has been removed (quite common due the way this if then removed). Watch the video above for a full review of the condition. Everything works without any fault, except the aftermarket rear parking sensors. The van is also fitted with an aftermarket reversing buzzer. This can be disabled by double engaging reverse for nighttime use.

The tyre treat depths: Front 4.5mm & 3.5mm, Rear both 6mm, Spare 7.5mm.

New tyres typically are 6.5-7.5mm tread depth. The legal limit is 1.6mm.

MoT

The current MoT expires 20/12/2020.

Service history

The van has just had a service with new cabin filter and wiper blades fitted.
Normally Lex Autolease provide a service history print with their vehicles, but it is missing with this one. The service book is also not stamped during the lease period (pretty common on lease vehicles).

Number of owners

1 since new. V5 shows no previous keepers.

Warranty

The original manufacturer's warranty is 3 years/60,000 miles on the van and 5 years/60,000 miles on the EV powertrain and battery. Breakdown cover is also for 3 years/60,000 miles.

So the original Nissan warranty still applies to the EV components and traction battery to 20/12/2020.

The manufacturer's warranty on the rest of the van has expired, so this comes with a comprehensive 3 month warranty and roadside recovery from Go Green Autos. For further details see 'Warranty' in The Buying Process page.
