The Voltia XL is an extended body conversion on a Nissan E-NV200 electric van, which increases the standard cargo volume from 4m3 to 8m3 and allows you to stand up in the rear. This one is a 24kWh Acenta Rapid Plus, which means it has the DC rapid charging (30 minute rapid charge) and the upgraded 6.6kW AC charging for faster home or workplace charging. It also has the optional heated front seats and heated leather steering wheel, which makes a huge difference in the winter as its more efficient to heat the driver, than heating the whole cab. The van also has a reversing camera, bluetooth, pre-conditioning, timed charging and of course the normal electric windows & mirrors.
Due to the additional bodywork, the Voltia has a reduced payload of 580kg over the standard 703kg payload (or 678kg on Tekna spec vans). Being an Acenta Rapid Plus model, it gains the following over the standard Acenta spec: 50kW DC rapid charging, upgraded 6.6kW AC charger, climate control, automatic lights & rain sensing wipers.
For full details of specifications and dimensions, refer to the Nissan brochure at the bottom of this page. For further details on the Voltia conversion, see Voltia's website and watch our What is the Voltia? video.
Being zero emission, these vans are ULEZ exempt and road tax exempt.

The range of a vehicle is dictated by the battery capacity, driving style and temperature. Just like a petrol or diesel vehicle, range is reduced is you drive fast or uneconomically. For further details, see Range Explained.
The official (NEDC) range is 106 miles, but in real life this is typically around 80-90 miles in the summer, depending on driving style. Range is reduced in winter to around 65-75 miles, but this does depend on the temperature and heating use. Because this van has the winter pack, you can use heated seats & heated steering wheel to minimise heater use, which helps improve winter range.
This ENV200 has two charging ports at the front. A 50kW DC Chademo port for public rapid chargers and a type1 (J1772) for all other charging on AC power. This van has the upgraded 6.6kW AC charger. (The standard charger is 3.3kW)
Charge times (from empty) are approx:
30 mins to 80% on a 50kW DC rapid charger
4 hours to 100% on a 7kW AC charger
9.5 hours to 100% on a 2.3kW portable charger
The van comes with a type1 to type 2 AC charge cable. A portable charger (granny cable) can also be supplied on a loan basis.
24kWh 360 volt lithium-ion battery. Battery is owned.
The current battery state of health (tested 15/10/2020) is 99.44%.
The van is in good condition as it has only done 16k miles. There is some minor scratches & cracking in the rear bumper (parking knocks) and minor dents in the rear doors. The van has previously sign written but has been removed by ourselves and there is no nicks in the paint. Everything works without any fault.
Watch the video above for a full review of the condition. Also study the photo gallery where any negatives are photographed.
The tyre treat depths: Front both 4.5mm, rear 5.6/5.2mm, spare 6.3mm.New tyres typically are 6.5-7.5mm tread depth. The legal limit is 1.6mm.
The first MoT is being done next week.
The service book book is missing. However, we have purchased other another ENV200 from the same fleet at the same age and mileage and that had two services at the correct times, so I have no doubt this van has had the same. This van had a full inspection and service at Go Green Autos and has had a new new 12V auxiliary battery fitted, new cabin filter and wiper blades. The traction battery is also at 99.44% SOH.
1 since new. V5 shows no previous keepers.
The original manufacturer's warranty is 3 years/60,000 miles on the van and 5 years/60,000 miles on the EV powertrain and traction battery. Breakdown cover is also for 3 years/60,000 miles.
So the original Nissan warranty still applies to the EV components and traction battery to 28/09/2022. The manufacturer's warranty on the rest of the van is to 28/09/2020, so this van will also come with a comprehensive 3 month warranty and roadside recovery from Go Green Autos.
